We have a spectacular night planned for the 21st March, with live music from renowned musical troubadors David Dondero, Tim Holehouse and Mike West.
David Dondero is an American singer-songwriter and novelist, once hailed by NPR as one of today’s finest living songwriters. He first cut his teeth in the punk scene, channeling that raw energy into a distinctive blend of folk and indie rock. Dondero’s classic 2003 album, The Transient, brought him wider acclaim for his intimate, unvarnished lyrics and on-the-road storytelling.
In recent years, Dondero has continued to release stirring new music while also exploring the written word. His first novel Chaos the Cat showcases the same vivid, confessional style found in his songwriting.
Among his latest albums are Immersion Therapy(2023)—steeped in introspective folk—and the darkly political Filter Bubble Blues(2020), both of which solidify Dondero’s reputation as a restless creative force unafraid to meld personal reflection with pointed social commentary and wry humor.
