Venue Hire

The Magic Lantern is available to hire for any type of events such as Celebration Parties, Kids Birthday Parties, Meetings, Information Days, Music Concerts or Private Screenings.

As a general guide the cost is £60 per hour plus VAT to hold an event at a time outside normal film showing times. If you would like to hire the cinema at a time which would require us to cancel a regular screening the costs will vary depending on the type of event and numbers attending.

Additional costs to consider:

• Sound Technicians – if you want a live music act, we will need to provide a sound tech
• Film Screening – if you wish to choose a specific film to watch (something we have not recently shown) the licence will cost between £100 & £150 plus VAT.
